Court moves State Patrol document release to Oct. 14

The Washington State Court of Appeals today denied a motion filed by members of police union Local 26 to stay the release of documents from the Washington State Patrol administrative investigation and moved the release date for the documents to 4:31 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14.

Pending any further legal action, complete sets of the documents will be available for purchase on compact disc at 4:31 p.m. Oct. 14 in the City Clerk’s Office, located on the 2nd floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St., Room 220. Quantities may be limited on the first day. Additional copies will be made as public disclosure requests are received. In addition, the documents will be available for review on CD by appointment only. The many thousands of pages are contained on 33 CD’s and the cost for a complete set is $165.
