Pierce County has received top honors for 2007 from the Puget Sound Chapter of the International Right of Way Association. The county was named Employer of the Year, and Kerri Wittman, Professional of the Year.
Wittman, Right-of-Way Agent 2 for Public Works and Utilities, was recognized for her chapter leadership. Wittman is the chapter’s president-elect.
Right-of-way agents secure property and property rights for road improvement projects.
Walker accepted the employer award, which recognized the county for outstanding support of employees at chapter, regional and international levels. The awards were presented in Bellevue at the IRWA’s annual December luncheon for the chapter.
