Tacoma voters may have a second chance to vote on the $45 million Tacoma Dome renovation and improvement bond. The City Council is scheduled Nov. 1 to hear the first reading of an ordinance that would place the bond measure on a special election ballot on Feb. 7, 2006. More than 60 percent of voters in the September 2005 primary election approved the same Tacoma Dome renovation measure, but the total number of voters in that election did not meet the threshold to validate the bond measure.
