City Council members agreed to form the Broadway Local Improvement District (LID) downtown at the April 18 meeting. The LID will pay for new pavement, sidewalks, landscaping, street trees, ornamental street lighting and traffic calming bulb-outs while upgrades to water, storm and sanitary systems would be paid by the respective utilities.
