Council allows development on East Side

City Council members approved an ordinance Jan. 10 that approves vacating a portion of an alleyway between East 50th and East 51st streets and a portion of East 51st Street lying west of East N Street to allow a property owner to subdivide 6.35 acres into 34 single-family building lots.
