On Oct. 4 the City Council is scheduled to consider a contract for $1,370,880 with Commercial Structures Inc. from Burien to construct the Sector 3 Police Substation in a portion of Wapato Park at 1501 S. 72nd St. in the citys South End neighborhood. The substation will be a 3,600-square-foot building with accompanying public parking. This is the last of four neighborhood police substations to be funded.
