The LeMay Car Museum announced yesterday Comcast will provide airtime and host the museum on “Comcast Newsmakers,” a special four-minute program that will be aired throughout Western Washington.
“Marketing and promotion of the museum is a costly endeavor and we’re indebted to Comcast for helping us reach a much wider audience free of charge through their extensive network,” said museum President and CEO David Madeira. “We’re delighted to have their support.”
“Our affiliation can help publicize this resource within the greater Puget Sound region,” said Comcast VP Anne McMullen. “That’s good for the museum and it’s great for Tacoma’s image.”
Comcast Corporation is the nation’s leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services. With 24.1 million cable customers, 12.4 million high-speed Internet customers, and 3.5 million voice customers, Comcast is principally involved in the development, management and operation of broadband cable systems and in the delivery of programming content.
