Submittals in response to a RFB will be recorded as received. As soon as possible on the day of submittal deadline, preliminary results will be posted to www.TacomaPurchasing.org.

Solicitation Documents: An electronic copy of the complete solicitation documents may be viewed and obtained at the City’s plan distribution service provider, ARC, 632 Broadway, Tacoma, WA, or by going to http://www.e-arc.com/location/tacoma. Prospective bidders will be required to pay reproduction costs. A list of vendors registered for this solicitation is also available at their website.

Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held at Hood Street Reservoir, 1002 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma, WA 98409 on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00am.

Project Scope: Work includes, but is not limited to, localized demolition, structural modifications (concrete and structural steel) of existing buildings, excavation around existing facilities, application of CFRP, seismic anchoring and bracing of mechanical and electrical equipment, installation of new roofing system, installation of new HVAC fans, dampers, and louvers, and installation of new buried pipe connections, cathodic protection, application of spray on polyurea liner, and roof coating at the reservoir. The completed Work will provide Owner with structural seismic upgrades of the following facilities.

1. Hood Street Pump Station.

2. Hood Street Chlorination Building.

3. Hood Street Reservoir.

4. South Tacoma Pump Station.
