Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market Street, Tacoma WA 98402, Room 248 on July 6, 2016 at 1:30 pm. Project Scope: This Contract provides for the improvement of the Prairie Line Trail and shall generally consist of creating a 1/3 of mile addition to the trail. The project will construct a 14 foot wide concrete shared used bike path for a ~1/6 of mile over former BNSF right of way from Pacific Avenue to 15th Street and then improve the sidewalk over the 15th Street Bridge down to Dock Street. In addition the project will install lighting, benches, crosswalks, directional signage, plants, retaining walls and construct a storm water swale along Hood Street. Estimate: $2,700,000 Paid Leave and Minimum Wage: Effective February 1, 2016, the City of Tacoma requires all employers to provide paid leave and minimum wages, as set forth in Title 18 of the Tacoma Municipal Code.
