Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, May 16, 2016, in the Commencement Bay North Conference Room, at the Tacoma Center for Urban Waters, located at 326 East "D" Street, Tacoma, Washington, 98421. The purpose of the pre-bid meeting is to answer questions about this solicitation and any special or technical requirements, as well as the City's SBE and LEAP goals. Project Scope: This contract shall generally consist of installing approximately 2500 lineal feet of 7.125-inch outside diameter HDPE force main pipe, valves, and vaults in City streets and easements. Pipe construction will be by open cut trenching, and site work will include street pavement and site restoration. Pipe work will take place in Browns Point Boulevard, Norpoint Way, and Dumas Circle, NE. The project will also include installation of City provided submersible pumps in two existing wastewater pump stations. Pump station work will take place at the Dash Point and 7th and Pacific Ave. Pump Stations. Estimate: $800,000.00 to $950,000.00.
