Pre-Bid Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market Street, Tacoma WA, Room 148, on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Project Scope: The project entails the failed rock wall located on the westerly side of Vassault Street and lying southerly of the intersection of North 46th and Vassault Street. The wall will be replaced with subterranean steel spiral nails, rock, and steel wire basket forms varying in height from about 3 feet to 12 feet. Along with wall construction the City will be building sidewalk and ADA ramps from the beginning at the intersection of North 46th and Vassault continuing northerly on the west side of Vassault past the wall. The new sidewalk will fill in missing links of the sidewalk so this side of the street is continuous.
