Tacoma City Manager Eric Anderson announced last week that he has hired Joy Misako St. Germain as Director of the Human Resources Department. St. Germain was most recently the human resources director and diversity manager for the Washington State Department of Ecology and will assume her position with the City of Tacoma on Monday, Sept. 10.

St. Germain earned a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College. Her annual salary will be $137,197.
