City Council is scheduled to consider a resolution Dec. 15 that would authorize an agreement with the Tacoma-Pierce County Humane Society, in the amount of $526,000, for animal shelter services for the year 2010. This service is vital to the City’s Animal Control staff and the general public for sheltering of lost, abandoned and injured pets.
