The City of Tacoma’s Human Services Commission is now seeking volunteers to advise the City Council on human service policies and the allocation of federal and City funds for human service programs. Additionally, members of the commission also help design and implement the City’s human services initiatives.

It would be beneficial for volunteers to have knowledge of the city and experience in their community. The committee meets the second Wednesday of each month; members serve three-year terms and must reside within the city limits.
