“Parkland Christian Church dedicated its new facilities Sunday, July 16. PCC recently completed a $2.5 million, 25,000 square foot addition to its campus at 12305 Spanaway Loop Road South in Tacoma, more than doubling the previous size of the church building. The new addition consists of 10 classrooms, a seven-room nursery suite, a music room, children’s auditorium, indoor and outdoor play areas, and offices. The centerpiece of the redesigned main entrance is the Fellowship Court, a naturally lit area with a three-story vaulted ceiling. Pre-existing children’s classrooms have been remodeled for teens and adults, as well as space for the church’s clothing bank, food bank and hot meals ministries.God really did a miracle, says Roger Worsham, the senior pastor. The more than 200 families of Parkland Christian Church have donated over 80 percent of the construction costs, to be spread over three years. This new building is here today because our members caught the vision of what this additional space could do for our children and the various ministries of the church. Many church members reportedly donated labor and materials to help cut costs.”
