Chamber luncheon Feb. 10 highlights Tacoma future

Downtown Tacoma’s astounding rebirth continues, and the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce produces a quarterly luncheon to showcase the people, companies and organizations that are making it happen.

Attendees at these quarterly luncheons are always among the first to hear about downtown trends, learn about the latest developments and meet the people who are remaking the face of Tacoma’s urban center.

The next luncheon is scheduled for Fri., Feb. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at The Tacoma Club (16th floor -Wells Fargo Plaza). Guests will discover the next steps for downtown Tacoma’s central business district; find out what new developments are renovating landmark properties downtown and what new companies are making their home here; hear about a new promotion to kick off for the Dome District; meet the owner of the new Avanti Spa opening at the Courtyard by Marriot; get advance details about nominations for the 2006 New Tacoma Awards.Cost for the event is $25 for members pre-paid and $30 for non-members pre-paid; corporate tables are available.
