Centro Latino is sponsoring their third annual Latino College Fair Sat., Oct. 15 from 12pm to 5pm at 1208 S. 10th Street in Tacoma. Colleges throughout Washington State will be sending representatives who will inform students of the various scholarship opportunities available. The fair is targeting Latino high school students and their parents, but is open to all students regardless of ethnicity. Some colleges will be bringing current Latino students and some will have Spanish-speaking representatives. High school students and their parents will learn about the admissions process, student support services, financial aid and scholarships for Latino students.
