A celebration for local sports hero and Lincoln High School graduate Lawyer Milloy will take place at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 23.

Milloy will lead a procession from Lincoln Park at the corner of South 37th Street and Thompson Avenue to the steps of Lincoln High School at South 37th and G streets, where a short program will follow.

Lt. Gov. Brad Owen, Tacoma Mayor Bill Baarsma, City Councilmember Rick Talbert, local pageant royalty, former Seattle Seahawk quarterback Jon Kitna – also a Lincoln High graduate – will also participate.

Milloy is a member of the Super Bowl XXXVI champion New England Patriots.

He and some of his teammates are set to appear on the front panel of a box of Wheaties later this year.
