Casey named to Public Utility Board

Tacoma attorney Robert Casey has been named to the Tacoma Public Utility Board. The Tacoma City Council appointed Casey to fulfill the term of Doug Erwin, who resigned in January. Case will serve until June 30, 2006.

Casey is managing partner of Eisenhower & Carlson, PLLC. His primary areas of practice are real estate, land use, construction law and related litigation. He is a graduate of Seattle University and received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Casey has served on the Tacoma-Pierce County Economic Development Board and the boards of the St. Patrick School Commission; the Master Builders Association; the Tacoma Lawn Tennis Club; and the Channel Program, a social service volunteer program for recent college graduates. Other volunteer service includes Habitat for Humanity, Paint Tacoma Beautiful and youth basketball. He also served on a Tacoma Public Utilities citizen’s advisory committee in the early 1990s.
