Business Speaker Series begins at UW Tacoma on Monday

The University of Washington Tacoma business administration faculty and MBA students invite the public to attend the inauguration of the Business Speaker Series at 6 p.m., Monday, April 21, in the Keystone Auditorium.

Kent Roberts, vice president of organizational effectiveness for Birds Eye Foods, will be the inaugural speaker for the series.

Roberts will describe how Birds Eye Foods, one of America’s leading food companies, is striving to meet its stakeholders’ expectations by making continuous process improvement a way of life in the company.

Roberts’ work at Birds Eye includes the creation of diagnostic measures and training and development programs to help workers focus on improving process efficiencies and leadership of the company’s strategic planning initiatives.
