A woman leaving work at the Tacoma Mall Monday night was assaulted by armed carjackers in the malls parking lot, Tacoma police say.
Caroline Matelski was leaving work at the Bon Marche when three men assaulted her as she reached her car, hitting her on the head with a gun. Matelski managed to escape her attackers on foot, but the suspects took off with her car.
Police are investigating.
