Bates Technical College is holding a free information session for people interested in exploring a career in real estate, at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 15, at the South Campus located at 2201 South 78th Street, Tacoma.

The session is an easy way for anyone considering a career in real estate to gain information from someone active in the industry. Penelope Levy, RE USA agent, will give an overview of the profession and its opportunities, and be available to answer questions.

The information session will serve as an introduction to the Real Estate Fundamentals class that will begin at Bates in January. The 60-hour class will help people prepare for the Washington State real estate licensing exam, and is approved by the state licensing division to meet pre-licensing requirements for the state. Participants will be able to choose from a 6:00 to 9:00 evening class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or a Saturday class from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
