Bates holds annual community food and toy drive

On Thursday and Friday mornings, December 8 and 9, staff and student volunteers will be on Yakima Avenue from 11th to Earnest Brazill Streets seeking cash donations, toys, clothing and non-perishable food items to assist families in need during the holidays.

“This is a community outreach project that our staff and students look forward to each year,” says President David Borofsky. “Last year’s drive helped make the holidays brighter for more than 150 families. We sincerely appreciate the support we receive from the community.”
