Tacoma City Council seeks to fill four volunteer positions (two expired terms and two three-year terms) on the Foss Waterway Development Authority (FWDA) Board.

The FWDA Board consists of seven members who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Tacoma City Council. Members shall be civic or business leaders with experience in such fields as finance, real estate development, law or construction management and, to the extent possible, a majority of the membership shall be residents of Pierce County. The FWDA will undertake, assist with, and otherwise facilitate the redevelopment of property within and along Thea Foss Waterway.
