Bratrud Middle-ton Insurance has announced the naming of Ted F. Schlatter to vice president of sales.
Schlatter has over 12 years and a variety of experience in the insurance industry.
He joined Bratrud Middleton in 1997 in the Tacoma office as commercial account executive. He then moved to the Longview office and was promoted to vice president and partner in 1998.
With his new position as vice president of sales, he will oversee the Bratrud commercial insurance sales efforts with a strong focus on Bratrud’s growth in Southwest Washington.
Prior to joining Bratrud, Schlatter was lead commercial account executive with Pilkey, Hopping & Ekberg of Tacoma from 1994-97.
He started his insurance career in 1991 with Farmers Insurance/Truck Insurance Exchange and served in that role until 1994.
Schlatter received Bratrud’s President’s Club Award for being a “top performing partner” in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
He is working toward completion of the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional insurance designation.
Bratrud Middleton Insurance is the largest, privately owned, insurance brokerage in the state of Washington.
