The City Council is scheduled to consider a resolution Dec. 6 that would award a five-year agreement worth $30,000 per year to the Tacoma Events Commission for organizing and producing the annual Fourth of July celebration on Ruston Way. The proposed agreement would also include the option of one five-year extension.
