The Tacoma Sister Cities program invites you to its Kitakyushu Fundraising Dinner on Weds., Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. at Kabuki Japanese Restaurant, 2919 S. 38th St., in Tacoma. The event aims to raise money to bring a new Japanese garden to Point Defiance Park. Attendees will learn more about the project and the Sister Cities program, while connecting with other internationally minded Tacoma residents over Japanese cuisine.
