On Jan. 25, Tacoma City Counci is scheduled to receive an update from McMenamins and Elks on Broadway, LLC on the conceptual designs for the Elks Temple renovation and the adjacent mixed-use project. As a second item on the agenda, staff from General Government utilities and Tacoma Public Utilities will review a utility rate discount proposal for all low-income customers. Lastly, City staff will be available to discuss parking needs in the area surrounding the Tacoma Dome. The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
