At the Sept. 16 Economic Gardening Workshop, Tacoma business owners are invited to come learn the businesses fundamentals about financial statements and the impact they have on your business to ensure positive cash flow and profitability. The City of Tacoma’s Community and Economic Development Department will host the upcoming Economic Gardening Workshop — A Financial Check up for your Business. This workshop is free to any business that is located in Tacoma. Audrey Godwin, the principal and founder of a certified public accounting and business advisory services firm, will lead the session. Godwin is a Certified Public Accountant who brings 20 years of experience working with businesses to build solid strategic plans and equipping them with the tactics to get the job done. Tacoma business owners can choose between a morning or lunch session. The sessions will be held at the Tacoma Branch of the Evergreen State College, 1210 6th Ave., Room 105.
