Pierce County Sheriff’s 'Mounted Posse' seeks applicants at open house, Nov. 10

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse is accepting applications to volunteer with the group. An Open House will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Parkland-Spanaway Sherriff’s Precinct (495 Shandon Wright Way S. Tacoma).

The Mounted Posse is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to patriotism, recreation and social relationships. The group strives to make a positive impact in the community by supporting the Sherriff with security and patrol at events. Horsemanship remains a strong focus of the posse and members participate in several mounted events annually.
