Tired of sharing your cube with your bicycle? Tacoma’s newest bike parking is open for business. The Park Plaza North Bike Cage — located at 923 Commerce Street, on the fifth floor of the garage and directly across from the skybridge to Broadway — is locked with a code and includes six bike racks inside. To access the cage, simply download a waiver from the “Downtown On The Go!” Web site, fill it out, and send it in with your payment. The fees are $8 per quarter (three months) or $25 per year. Once your paperwork is received, you will be given the access code and you will be all set to start your bike commute. A second bike cage, at Pacific Plaza (1250 Pacific Ave — third floor), will be coming soon.
