Feds say risk to economy over

After a raft of unexpectedly robust economic data, the Federal Reserve concluded yesterday that the economy no longer faces the risk of further weakness and is on track toward recovery.
But at the same time, signs of recovery, apparent in the manufacturing sector and in the countrys labor markets, were not enough to prompt the Fed to raise interest rates from a four-decade low of 1.75 percent
