Technical college plans graduation ceremony Thursday
Renton Technical College is having its annual graduation celebration Aug. 12.
The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. at the ShoWare center in Kent.
Earl Hale and a student speaker, Penny Cahoon, are expected to speak.
There are 1,422 eligible students to graduate, and the school anticipates about 30 to 40 percent will attend the ceremony, said spokesperson Kathy Chavers.
