TV Tacoma to honor world record with replays of Stadium High program

On Sept. 16 Stadium High School’s centennial reunion set a world record for the largest recorded school gathering, as was just recently certified by the Guinness World Record organization. In honor of that achievement, beginning last week, TV Tacoma began to re-air its documentary on Stadium High School, “The Castle on the Hill.”

The program was originally produced in 2006 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Stadium High School and tells both the architectural and human story of this important Tacoma icon through extensively researched photographs, memorabilia and interviews. The “Castle on the Hill” will be broadcast through October 18th.
