Tacoma-based C.L.A.W. awards annual scholarship

Tacoma-based Cartoonists League of Absurd Washingtonians (C.L.A.W.) has announced it has awarded this year’s Young Cartoonist of the Future scholarship to Kayla Nicole Cline, an art student at Memphis College of Art in Memphis, Tenn. The scholarship has been awarded annually for the past two years to a student currently enrolled in an educational institution and aspiring to be a cartoonist or illustrator. In 2009, the organization awarded $100 to Adam M. Botsford. In 2010, the organization awarded $370 to Amelia Davis, an art student at Cogswell Polytechnical College in Sunnyvale, Calif.
