Register today for RevitalizeWA historic preservation conference

Registration is open for RevitalizeWA, an annual conference organized by the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation, the Washington Main Street Program, and the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation that provides resources, workshops, and information for individuals and organizations interested in revitalizing historic communities in Washington State.

This year’s three-day conference will include a range of seminar and workshop topics, such as creating dynamic walking tours, accessing historic newspapers online, activating historic alleys and main streets, and identifying economic development tools for historic downtowns. The event’s keynote speaker is author, photographer, and attorney Charles R. Wolfe, whose interests include the use of sustainable development techniques and innovative land use regulatory tools on behalf of both the private and public sectors.

The event will be held on Tues., May 6 through Thurs., May 8, at the Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel in Wenatchee, Wash. Event sponsors include Swenson Say Faget, Western Waterproofing Company, SHKS Architects, Bassetti Architects, RAFN Company, and Site Story.
