Pierce County wraps up boat launch rehab project

Pierce County Public Works crews are nearly finished rehabilitating the A Street KPS boat launch in the community of Home near Carr Inlet. The boat launch was closed on July 15 to allow crews to replace the existing ramp structure with concrete panels purchased from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. According to Pierce County officials, work should be completed this week, with the exception of some paving.
