The City of Tacoma has partnered with the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department to create “Drive Nice, Tacoma,” a new safety campaign that urges motorists to be more considerate of other road users, pedestrians and bicyclists. The campaign was designed by Rusty George Creative and paid for with grant funds from the Washington State Department of Health. Bumper stickers and postcards will soon be available, and ads will be visible on the LINK light rail, Pierce Transit busses and transit shelters.
