New director at MultiCare Health Foundation

Linda Kaye Briggs has joined the MultiCare Health Foundation as Executive Director, bringing with her vast experience in the banking and fundraising industries and a personal passion for helping others.

As Executive Director, Briggs will be primarily responsible for educating the community about the ongoing needs of healthcare and growing the MultiCare Health Foundation to fulfill those needs to ensure patients have access to quality healthcare.

Briggs comes to the MultiCare Health Foundation after having served as Senior Vice President of Resource Development and Community Relations for United Way of Pierce County, where she led the annual $9.5 million federal, state and community campaigns. She also served as Vice President of Marketing at United Way.

Before United Way, Briggs came from the banking industry at both Harborstone Credit Union and Security Pacific Bank.

“I love my community and I think it is a privilege to work with such a dedicated, smart and committed team as evidenced in the MultiCare Health System,” says Briggs. “It is exciting for me to join a team where the vision is being developed by incredible volunteers and an Executive Team where they can depend on me to build a team to accomplish that vision.”

Briggs also has served in a variety of volunteer leadership positions at Pierce County March of Dimes, the Program for Early Parent Support (PEPS), an advisor for Junior Achievement and she has been a Rotarian for eight years.
Briggs graduated from California State University with a Bachelor of the Arts in Business and Telecommunication. She later moved to the Puget Sound region and received her Masters in Banking and Finance from the University of Washington.
