Metro Parks Tacoma People's Community Center Reader board Bid: #J2016-04 BID NOTICE The Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma: Will receive sealed bids for Bid: #J016-04, People's Community Center Reader board, at the office of Planning, Design & Development, Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma, 4702 South 19th Street, Tacoma WA 98405 until Monday, April 18, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 2:10 p.m. Bids received after the appointed time set for receipt will be returned unopened. Scope of Work: The project consists of installing a new double faced electronic readerboard, with up-to-date technology in place of the existing obsolete unit. Removal and off-site disposal of the old unit is included as well as electrical wiring revisions and structural mounting modifications for the new readerboard. Work includes furnishing and installing a new computer having up-to-date display control software. Provision of new wireless radio remote gear for linking with the new readerboard electronic control units must be included. Commissioning services to make the display control system operational and training for the operators are to be included in the bid price. There is an additive bid alternate for an extended service contract. Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates: Will apply for all project labor performed on-site for the readerboard renovation.
