MBA of Pierce County selects Northwest Landing in DuPont as site for 2002 Street of Dreams

The Master Builders Association (MBA) of Pierce County has chosen DuPont’s Northwest Landing community as the location for the 2002 Street of Dreams.
The event will feature seven custom-built homes that showcase trends in design, technology, landscaping and style.
The homes will range in size from 2,800 to 3,500 square feet and are for sale at approximately $325,000 to $425,000.
The 2002 Street of Dreams is scheduled for Aug. 2 through Sept. 2.
Seven popular Pierce County custom homebuilders will each build one home.
Builders include Ambrosia Homes, Boardwalk Homes, Chasewood Homes, Legacy Custom Homes, Manchester Construction, North Bay Homes and Signature Homes.
“We think Northwest Landing is an ideal location for the 2002 Street of Dreams,” said Vern Bolte, chair of the MBA Street of Dreams Committee.
“It’s charming character and terrific lifestyle amenities – including trails, retail shops, an elementary school and parks – make it a very attractive community for homebuyers.”
“Northwest Landing is delighted to partner with the MBA, the City of DuPont, and the builders to host this year’s event,” said Greg Moore, general manager of Northwest Landing.
“We hope the Street of Dreams visitors will enjoy the seven beautiful homes and discover what makes this community such a great place to live.”
The MBA’s popular event typically draws more than 20,000 visitors.
This year, it will be the only Street of Dreams event in the Puget Sound region.
