Jazz, wine festival set for early next month

The Tacoma Old Town Jazz & Wine Festival, presented by T-Town Productions, South Sound Promotions, and The Slavonian American Benevolent Society, will provide a delightful lineup of renowned jazz artists for this first-in-a-series fundraising event to benefit the Tacoma Old Town Park Performance Stage Project.

The event will take place Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Slavonian Hall – 2306 N 30th St, Old Town Tacoma. The event is planned as follows:

– 1:30 p.m., Ceremonial Wine Toast;

– 2 p.m., Wine Tasting, sponsored by five local wine distributors will commence with Jazz performances by Greta Matassa, Deems Tsutakawa, Bill Ramsay, and the Kareem Kandi Band; and

– 10 p.m., festival concludes.
