About The Girls Only Prom: The Girls Only Prom is a Tacoma-based coalition that hosts one-of-a-kind, inclusive dance party experiences, with proceeds from the events go to support local organizations fighting for women’s causes. As a Tacoma photographer, Lisa Blackmore created The Girls Only Prom after seeing groups of friends having a blast on the dance floor at weddings. She was inspired to create a fun event in celebration of sisterhood. Lisa is passionate about girl empowerment and believes women are essential leaders in our community.

Through education and collaboration Rebuilding Hope improves the community’s response to sexual assault and abuse victims and challenges the behaviors and beliefs that promote sexual violence.
