Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday August 1, 2016, at Tacoma Public Utilities, 3628 South 35th Street, Tacoma WA, conference room ABN-M1. The purpose of the pre-bid meeting is to answer questions about this solicitation and any special or technical requirements, as well as the City's SBE and LEAP goals. Project Scope: The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, tools and materials for constructing approximately 2460 linear feet of 16-inch, 8-inch, and 6-inch, water mains together with all necessary valves, specials, etc., as well as Street Restoration, all in accordance with these specifications and approved plans. The work is located in North Highland Street, from North 21st Street to North 30th Street. All located in the NE ¼ of Sec. 35, T21N, R2E, WM., and the SE ¼ of Sec. 26, T21N, R2E, WM., Pierce County, WA. Estimate: $557,500.00 plus applicable tax.
